The Center's Community Based Services Program is a network of interconnected departments that work together to provide services primarily with helping parents, children, and teens with support in applying for social service programs, counseling & therapy throughout South Jersey. The Center's Community Based Services Program is a network of interconnected departments that work together to provide services primarily with helping parents, children, and teens with support in applying for social service programs, counseling & therapy throughout South Jersey. These departments include The Multi Service Program (MSP) , Bi-Lingual Parenting Counseling, Senior Program, Volunteering, Internships, and Outreach/Referrals.
SOCIAL SERVICES OFFERED
This program helps older adults navigate through systems such as unemployment, SNAP, Medicaid/Medicare and many others. Especially focuses on bridging the technology gap that is faced by the elderly. Our program serves vulnerable seniors with the development, implementation and coordination of an individualized plan of care. These services are provided by our non-profit organization and are no cost, depending on income and resources. This type of case management services are n “hands-on” and also provide linkage to other services and supports.

ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES
CLASS STRUCTURE
The focus of the 7 session anger management class is both educational and supportive. Through class interaction, experiential exercises, lecture, and homework assignments, individuals will develop new ways to manage their feelings of anger. During the class, individuals will learn and actively practice new skills, tools, and techniques to understand and manage your anger, feel better about yourself in day-to-day life and, as a result, significantly improve relationships at home and at work.
Also:
- To better understand your anger escalation process.
- To become clearer about how explosive anger affects you and others around you.
- To end threatening and intimidating behavior and to decrease the frequency of emotional and verbal abuse toward others.
- To accept responsibility for past abusive behavior and to work at identifying and changing controlling attitudes and behaviors that have led to becoming explosive and abusive.
- To identify and express more openly and assertively all your feelings.
- To examine and work on childhood and shame issues that relate to abusive behavior and to better understand how these issues relate to your current abuse of others.
- To learn to experience more control over yourself and your actions and to make clear choices about--and take responsibility for--thoughts, feelings, wants and behaviors in the present.
- To learn to identify and deal more effectively with life stressors as they arise.

The Spanish Community Center "Stop Anger" Class offers the most comprehensive online anger management course available.
These New Jersey anger classes are ideal to fulfill a court anger management class requirement, employer requirement or simply for personal growth.
Program description (Victims)
The program for victims consists of 13 sessions where the client can understand that she is not to blame for that situation.
Some sessions will be changed according to the needs of the client.
The program can be offered in individual or group sessions.
The referring agency will receive three reports during the sessions: successful intake, a progress report halfway through the program or earlier if applicable, and a closing report.

The program for aggressors is 13 sessions, 1 hour per week, where the client will be given anger management and a way to communicate, prevent future confrontations, and prevent children from being also victims of violence during a separation.
